Tighten the knots for the tides move fast,

and the waters are harsh but the bearers run dry.

But hold what is yours and quicken the cast,

or sink deep into the oceans and cry.

Sounds swallow you whole,

and noises cancel your hearing.

But listen to the humming of your soul,

or surrender to the death you were fearing.

Shatter into a million bits,

and tend to what remains.

But don’t surrender your midst,

or plunge into the darkness of what prevails.

Light the beams to cancel the inkiness,

and shine to the heaven’s throne.

For, the Gods reside within your uniqueness,

and you are at the center of your own.
